4000 Wood Sides from MPCStuff

Well they look good, but the "screw" thing is really important..

Personally I open it up once every 6 months for general cleaning etc. so that would be a problem.

The other ones from Forat are toooo expensive also..

Maybe its fine as it is

My co-worker is a very skilled woodworker and made some wooden panels for me. He is going to make me another set that cover the whole side of the 4000. I will post some pics tomorrow. If anyone is interested, PM me and we can get a set for ya (good price). He can do panels for any MPC as well. He gets all kinds of wood too, from maple, black walnut, ash, you name it. He's doing my new set in Black Walnut.

They stick with a sort of "foam" tape. I really don't like it because :
- you can't remove them if you want to open up your MPC
- I love the design of the original parts (which is much more complicated)

But for me the main question is "Is it worth 120$ ?"

Well ... IMO These aren't very well made but I read people crying about 120$, so I guess that quality wood panels would have been far too expensive for most of us

120$ would be more than fair price for high quality 4k sides and front with screws as original.

BTW This is one of sampled designs of mpc1000 sides I've made specially for mpc-stuff for a test, but we resigned as duty tax and oversea delivery costs would make them overpriced.. they are in US and I'm in EU.
