the voweliser filter

anyone got a good explanation of what it does, seams like a LP but the reso isn't potent, what is it good for, I think I used it once or tvice but more just becouse of the name ,.. "I used the voweliser" is a fking kool thing to say ..

yo ... tryin to ad somethin .... the manual says somethin that it changes sounds into sorta vocals such as aa, or ee, or oo, ... or whateva ....

however i been usin it .... and been gettin very sceptical on my capacity to understand the english language properly ... coz nothin the like happened .... fetlt sorta the same as you described ....kinda lowpass without or with very little ressonance .... and i agree ... ... one can always say "i used the vowalizer on that sample" ... it definately sounds fkin cool ...

For what it's worth, there was a voweliser filter- two types, in fact - on my old EMU ESI4k, and it was one of the best filters i've ever used. And it really did what the MPC's manual says its voweliser should do

hmm changes sounds into aaa or eee ?? man then they arn't quite there yet, maybe its going to be updated in a os.. I dunno a lp is much more affectif but it does have a smothness to it though..I guess Emu just got it right..
