Hi everyone,

I am now spended a third day with my new 4k.. and i am really impresed by the complexicity of the maschine but already started to see the diference between the 2kxl but I know i will get used to to all the workflow and parts /multi, keygroups etc./

but now i am working on headphones and realise that on short samples / kicks /
an unpleseant click occures.. i loaded the same kick in my DAW and it is not in the sample itself.. i mean WTF?!! i was trying to adjust the start/end of the sample the trim or decay but it seems that it is not where the click happend..?! Do you experience it too with short samples? How can i get it out of the sample..? :hmmm:

Check the sample rate and bit depth of those samples too.

The decay/release setting is more than likely where your problem lies... I know there was a thread here about it in this very section.

May the 'search' be with you my son...

Dont forget to look at the waveform, look for zero crossings at start and end points, and what Mike Boogie said too...
