Any users of this I need some help. The Aksys manual is useless.

Can anyone give me a brief step by step on how to get a chopped sample from recyle into the 4K.

I'm unclear on how to get a chopped sample into a program. With all the chops assigned to pads.

Any help appreciated.

I don't have recycle, but don't you just save/export as a Akai Program and then drag and drop. Recycle creates the Program, assigns the samples to the pad, and creates a midi file.

I believe that you would just Drag the Multi, Program, Sample and Midi file that Recycle
creates to the MPC in the Ak.SYS to the "Memory" portion. Go to MPC 4000.
Make sure you are on the right Mulit and make sure that you are on the right sequence and hit play and it should go.

I've always found it easier to use the internal "Slice Sample" Feature.

Maybe somebody with Recycle can correct me if i'm wrong.

Cheers,

you can set Recycle as your sample editor in Aksys. Then after chopping in Recycle, export the pieces as wavs or as an Akai program (akp). Then drag n drop the folder to the MPC.
