yhea X XL user here aswell. only thinkg I miss from my 2k is the slider per pad operation and the way it made use of the fader in trim mode, these are features that might see birth in future OS update and I do belive akai is on this, besides that there's nothing I can really say that the XL has over the 4k, the 4k workflow is even faster due updated UI & the fact that you can freely jump around the OS during playback,..
