Help!

Ok, I have my MPC 4000, but I'm still waiting on my studio monitors to be delivered. I have my MPC 4000 hooked up to my PC and have upgraded the OS already. Now my question is this: Is there a way to play with the MPC 4000 using Ak. Sys. so that I can hear it through my computer speakers? My monitors arrive Monday, July 21st, but I'm anxious to get started. Can anybody help me out? I just want to know if it's possible...Thanks.

Akaisys is only for data transfer bro. About the only thing you can do with that is to cut up some samples on your PC(in an audio editor like Wavelab or Soundforge) to get them ready for when you get your monitors...then when you get your monitors just transfer the samples to your MPC and bang em out. The MPC4000 has got a headphone socket on the front pannel - you can just plug a pair of 'phones in and start playing
