Newbie

I'm new to the MPC world. I've been doing all my beats in DP3. I now realize the error of my ways when I finally got my hands on this beast. I ordered mine from sweetwater sound and I got the plus.

It took 2 months for Akai to ship it in but I got it last week. There is a huge learning curve because I've never work with the MPC series before so I'm lumbering through it all. But sense I don't know any different I'll be fine. I already can hear a immediate diference in the beat structure of my sequencing. It is true you can do it in a computer but it takes so much more work for your drums to get good punch right out the gate.

I can always tell if someone is making their beats through a computer. I'm sorry but its just different. Anyway, cool site. I've got as million questions that I'm sure I bugging everyone with, so take my apologies now.

Are the 24 bit somputer sounds bad???
I've been writing music only ont ht computer with such tsoft like Reason etc...does it really suck guys??

First off, it would help if you could type in coherant english.

Secondly, no, 24bit samplers are the pinnacle of sampling technology at the moment, as a result, it does not sound "bad".

I'd stick to Reason if I were you...
