Multisamples qiuck tutor ?

I got all the Futuremusic DVDs with multi samples folders where are short notes of one instrument in diferent notes like A3 C3 A4 C4..

I m sure that in the keygroup program you can asign all the samples to the specified key rage throug zones - and then you have all keyrange and its more complex in oposite one sound pitched through the all kyes..

soooo.. anyone a quick tutorial to this? as i was not sucesfull with it lately...

- Create a keygroup.
- Go into KG MIX
- Open Window on the '1' (top left)
- Decide how many keys you need in total and create that number of 'KGs'.
- Load all your samples in and get assigning.

Hi, there i came back casue i cant figure it out and dont have move with it ever since..

I ve got wav samples of a Roland SH101 - labeled pulseA1, pulseA2, pulseA3, pulseC1, pulseC2 .. in total of 22 samples/notes..


I have done what you have writen but after i havce kreated 22 keygroups i can nowhere find that window where i asign those samples under the notes they represent.. ? So when i play A4note it will be a new sample and not a C2 sample pitched up..

Any tutorial online fellas?

Try the Z4/Z8 manual. I don't know for sure but I suspect it may be more useful regarding keygroups.

i also can recommend the getting started manual - it is only 120p and a must read before you even consider buying one
i was happy i finaly found one (after four years of use) - cause there are some items in it that go 'aha' (3x)

On this note, I've had a couple of the manuals printed for a while but recently went and got them professionally binding for easy of use. I have a spare and would like to sell it to someone here if anyone's looking. It's $15, really just to cover the printing, binding and mailing (within the US). You can sent it via paypal. As a point of reference mpcstuff.com sell it for $30 before shipping.

I've never really been one for manuals but it's so much easier to quickly look something up this way, probably better than the actual book binding on the original (which I once had). It's the complete manual, clearly printed and unmarked with a strong plastic cover on the front to protect it.
