Word, Blue Haze ? "not for a while" is most definitely better than "never"
I just think that would be the illest & easiest way to flip and edit samples, while staying in "The Zone"
16 possible auto-assigned, user-tapped start points, with no limitations on thier respective sample/tick placement. And the ability to do it all in one pass...wow...![]()
That is the ultimate user-friendly "chop shop"![]()
I agree with ya if you know how to program all of those features. Cause for all over a course of a year there has been a gang of feature requests and bright ideas that the users have envisioned and send to Akai especially that Feline guy and not one peep ever came from Akai. Its good idea but to tell ya the sad story it is most likely not gonna happen on the 4k cuz the past features were not impliemented, the company is in a big change, and the biggest push right now is the 2500 and OS ver 2.0 black 1k.
Maybe in a future 2007 version of a new MPC may be able to see the light since it will be on some other shit. Check out the NAMM show cuz whatever new hardware sampler if they have one come out will be the future sampler engines of the new mpcs.
Remember the most advanced sampling and editing engine currently is the Z8 now. The current Z8s and others doesn`t have multiple edit points either. But the future is anyone`s guess.
