Problems with Progams

ok so im trying to figure why my samples are not playing when im the main sequence page. let me break it down step by step what it is I do and then hopefully someone can tell me what the hell it is im doing wrong.

1- sample my sound from vinyl
2- add sample to the desired program which is program 1
3- hit the program button and choose the program that I want to work with
4- go to the main page and select ( int out part-1)

now this is the part that's not making any sense. when I try to select the program by turning the jog wheel nothing shows up so therefor I have no samples playing on the main sequence page. really need some help with this one ya'll.

now I guess its worth mentioning that I get (*) beside the program when im in the program page. I'm also running os 1.51 if that even matter. I'm a 3000 cat so this system is so different to me. any help would be much appreciated!!!

you need to assign the samples to pads in program mode, then select "multi" on the top right where it says "monitor"
this way you should hear whats going on when in the main screen

Worked like a charm, just wish it could've been easy to set up like the 3000. One last question. Is the 1.70 os still available? I heard that 1.71 is kind of suspect!

Just make a template and it becomes even easier than the 3k ever dreamed of being without losing any of the 4k power.

Also do yourself a favor and don't go backward on the OS.
