Is the midi out on the mpc 4000 powered?

Im thinking about a midi solutions blender to control an S 950, it needs power from a midi cable.
Is the 4 midi out powered?

All MIDI carries a small amount of current usually 5v peak to peak and can be used to power some low current devices.
Looking at the MIDI solutions website it appears that they have engineered these products to take advantage of this

I should have got back to this thread. Yes it is, keep in mind if you don't use it for a while during a session some these midi boxes stop responding. You have to unplug the midi cable and plug it back to "wake it up".
