Problem with filter settings after upgrading memory!

I recently upgraded my MPC 4000 to 512 MB. I took out the original memory board so that I could see how to place the new one in. Both memory boards went in smoothly (heard the click and everything).

I powered up the MPC and it said that I had 512 MB. Cool, everything good, right?

THEN, I tried to load a previous project (before the upgrade) and all filter settings are all different on every prior project!! WTF!

for example, all my programming/sequencing is the same, but all my filter settings are all over the map, totally NOT how I set my filter parameters.

Could this be from taking out the original memory board and putting it back in the same spot? I don't see how or why this could be an issue but this is the only explanation.

Anyone with any kind of information on this matter, please HELP!!

i changed both the ram a few weeks ago, everything worked just fine afterwards. cannot confirm that replacing them causes this problem
