Can someone explain in detail how this works? I loaded 1.7 on the 4k but I cant get the qlink faders to move the stop/start positions more than a a few milliseconds. do you have to keep bringing the fader down to zero and repressinng the active button to get it to work? on the 2kxl, the shit would fly all the way thru the sample with no problems. What am I doing wrong?

Well, when we get the Release Notes for this OS in english, it'll probably
be discussed in there.

I had the same problem as you do. I believe that this is related to
the "Zoom" level that you have set. If adjust the Zoom level,
the faders will make it work all the way through the samples.

It's kind of a neat feature, so you can adjust the "sensitivity" of the
what the faders are doing, so you can really fine tune the editing.

The thing is, no matter where I have my zoom set to, the amount the cursor moves is the same.

well i m with renegade ... if ya zoom in the sliders trim finer, if ya zoom out ya can trim a sample all the way up and down with one move ... play with shift + block cursor whilst movin with those sliders and you'll see ... hth

Well, I tried all of the suggestions, but regardless of the zoom setting, the cursor only moves 153. this is on start, stop, and both loop settings. Sh*t dont work for me.

No problems, I worked it the same like the others. I set the zoom with shift cursor buttons all the way out. While pressing the active button, moved the Qlink slider like a charm. The finer the zoom in is in the bottom window the less the cursor moves. Just make sure to set the shift cursor button first like before and you will have it and be like "Oh shit that was all I had to do" Live and learn. Good luck. :D

By the way the English addition of the release notes are out at the Akai Japanese Website. :D
