mpc400o help

i've had the 4k for five months now and just realized that it comes with a cd....Does the 4k really come with one????

Yes. 1 is a sound library the 2nd is the AkSys. software and owner manuals for AkSys, MPC4000 refrence manual plus others.

i was so exited on receiving it that i didn't even think about the sound library...does it really matter? do u think the place that i bought it from will send me one

Did your MPC come loaded with sounds? I think some of the files are called Drums, GM Sounds, Keyboards Sounds, Loops, that is what is on the CD Sound library. So if you have those the HDD you don't need the disk.

would anyone actually have a copy of the disk, its a long story,lets just say its my friends MPC and he lost it, I am mpc illiterate and the disk was all I could use to sequence songs, samples irritate me for I havent quite figured out how to perfect them yet, the task is very slow

thanks guys i looked in the box and found it atttached to the foam.
on another topic how do u edit the drum with aksys I have no clue i look at the manual but i dont understand

chek the newbie thread or do a search for old post regarding akaisys
or keep reading that bad boi untill it clicks in ya bain
