Hey everyone!

I need to replace the record gain encoder on my 4k but mpcstuff is no longer selling these and I haven't found a suitable replacement par to for the original BA-L4016A502C (or whatever the part number is...).
Anyone here who could help me finding the right alternative for the record gain encoder I could use instead of the original one?

Thanks!

As mentioned in another thread the manufacturer of that part doesn‘t exist anymore and so the part number is essentially of no use.
It‘s a 20 kOhm twin potentiometer, logarithmic type.
The main problem is to find a replacement with identical shape, so it fits the place on the circuit board and the knob.
It‘s unlikely that „new old stock“ exists and mpc-stuff probably sources their parts from broken machines, so it may show up again at some point in time.

The pot is a high quality ALPS type, your best option may be to make a photo, add some measures and and show it to a hifi seller/repair shop in your area.
