i never came across any crashes (except in os 1.51 where my hd or samples were corrupt, nothing to do with the mpc), ..
.... tho the newer the os, the slower the mpc .. :(

That's an automated message just to let you know the e-mail is received by AKAI.

If they can reproduce the issue (I could so that shouldn't be the problem) and they figure out what part of the software causes the crash, they will get rid of this bug. But I guess that if they can't find it or it causes more trouble to get rid of it than they reasonably have time for, they probably won't allow you to load these very small files anymore in future OS-es... to prevent the crash from occuring.

My advise would be to test it again after the next OS, if you don't see
it listed in the Release NOtes (crashing with short sample or something
like that). If it's not fixed, resend it to them, and let them know the bug
is still present.
