making samples monophonic

i come from an mpc2k background, so this mpc4k is very different in terms of the sampling engine (not so much the sequencer).

now one thing i cannot work out on the mpc4k is how to make a sample monophonic. i am not talking about one shot, but mono.

you know triggering a sample and it carried on playing when you let go of the pad. and if you pressed the pad again while it was playing it would trigger it from the start again.

can someone please let me know if this can be done

I'm not in front of my shit but deal with me for a sec.
go to your program page and press the PITCH button, I think.
Either way in the program page look for the number 64. If you turn this down to one and set your sample to "one shot", you should be in mono mode. I'm at the SLAVE (job) right now so I can't look.
