yo haze ... dunno bout the 122 local control ... m still not in front of my 4k bot would be worth a try imo ...
lacertur you got the workarounds ... so thats cool ... but anyways there should be a better way ...
... so what if you connect your gear into each other and record straight into 4k .... is that too much of a hassle too? ... say sent your a80 to your xr and then to your nord modular and then into 4k to record ... sux a bit too coz you gotta reconnect everythin ... but you shouldn't get any loop this way and still hear whats goin on ...
or imo a bit less of a hassle ... sent a80 to your xr which goes into mpc midi in I and then route it out a to your nord modular ... should work, shouldn't it? ... maybe you can even let nord modular midi out plugged into 4k in II if you filter out the correct stuff ... what about filtering out note events from midi in II?
damn ... there must be a way ... would love to check it out myself ... and question: the "wait for midi oprion" for overdubbing ... still not sure whether i m inventing things here ... but isn't there a way to set overdub in a sorta hold position so that overdubbing only starts when a midi event comes in the 4k?
