liked the idea of the VGA and track editing/display.
Am still getting on well with the MPC4k but was very interested in the Roland after seeing the website and videos.
Would you recommend a switch? I'm not a hardcore MPC head and have switched from computer sequencing to the MPC to get away from PC's.
(PS do not want to kick off a debate, just interested.)

There's not much debate, as it ALL up to your needs. If you have to have use a VGA to sequence then get an MV. If you have to have Program Modulation matrix and deeper editing and synthesis abilities then get the MPC.

If you have to have both, then get both, or get one of them and a computer.

It reallly depends on what you want and need. I have specific needs when I make music. I know what those needs are an have found equipment ot match it. Hope that you are able to do the same, but the real question is the one that only you can ask. What you do you need/want?
