Hello this is a message from a newbie. After getting lost my first long message after clicking Preview, 
this will be a shorter one.
Next thursday I will get my MPC4000! And I can't wait.
After years of sequencing with Cubase, virtual instruments, virtual samplers http://www.creamware.de/en/products/software/creamware/STS5000/default.asp I'm getting more and more into hardware. Besides editing (Wavelab 4.0, the overview (Cubase SX), and mastering (CreamwareScope), I'll leave the pc disconnected to my brain and hands. Now the MPC4k will be my music-heart. Loaded with samples, linked to: VirusC, Supernova2proX, KorgKarma, NordModular, ElectribeEA1, ElektronMachinedrum, or even virtual synths or samplers. My MPC is hooked up with ADAT/SPdif, CdRw, and 512Mb.
When everything goes well, I will tell you about it. When things went the way I haven't thought or dreamed, I will ask you for help. But that's a forum isn't it?
