Exchange tips and tricks for the Akai MPC4000

so if I wanted to take out the drive that was in my MPC what should I be looking for to replace it with? I wanna try to get a bigger drive but I wanna make sure that I purchase the right one. Is it a 2.5" drive or 3.5" or something completely different?

I guess they don t even check the www.akaipro.com website

triton3k, you can get any IDE hard drive that's no bigger than 120GB and it should work pretty well

you can try biger sizes too but it ain't sure it s gonna work 100%...


the drives need to be formated to FAT32 too

it can be done whether from a PC or directly by the MPc
