I ended up getting a 120 gig Seagate for $50 after rebate.

I don't think it's the FAT32 format that's the limitation. FAT 32 should support drive sizes up to 2 TB (terra bytes). ISTR that the limiting factor is the method of addressing the drive. Most PC's use a 28-bit addressing method that limits the drive size to 128 GB. However newer PC's use 48-bit addressing which removes the limitation.

You might want to double check my information to make sure.
