Deciding on 4000 vs. 2000xl

im a newbie yall i finally hustled enough to cop a mpc. which one is the best 4000 or 2000xl and y

Depends all on you...really. The 4k is the best machine all around. There isn't one thing that you can say is better on the 2xl. Well...the 2xl is cheaper and it's smaller..there you go. The 4k is a better stand alone unit, it's better if you got to sequence a lot of gear, and it's also better if you use the computer a lot for your work.

The 2xl wil suffice anyway you look at it, but the 4k makes shit easier (once you get the hang of it) and gives a few more possibilities.

Oh BTW...I just want to say this before anyone else does cause I know a lot of cats will jump on this and I haven't said this to anyone yet....OK...here goes.

Just do a search there are a million posts on this exact same subject...it's extrememly redundant, and infuriates many of the regulars. OK I'm done.

Goodluck with whatever choice you make...don't discount the 1k or the other MPC's.

I'm not orratated. If you have the loot, the 4000 is a no brainer.
