Playing a program in program page

When I was on OS 1.71 I could play a program in program window when the cursor was on the program and when I moved the cursor, I would trigger that program. This is not the case on OS 1.70, is it? Or might it be some settings I initialized when downgrading to 1.70?
It was very handy, now I have to go into main and select the correspondinding track first..

it depends what you have selected in the MAIN page... if the selected track is a Midi out chan then you play midi outs on the program page. if your selected track is playing internal samples then you should be able to play any program from the program page...
