IJust got the 4k and I have been first recreating my libraries oiff of my APS 5 Gig SCSI disk that I used to use with my 2000xl. When I transfer some of the libraries through my MPC from my SCSI to my computer I get 2 errors. One of which makes me quit the other is just minor and has no noticable effects.
The first error says a zero point in a sample has be detectd ( or something close to that) then it says quit or stop??
What is that?
After that I have to go through the contents of say my Drum folder and move subfolder by subfolder (snare folder kik folder etc).
The other error is just telliing me that this file already exists on this drive... Do you want to replace, replace all or do not replace.
I choose replace all and everything seems to be cool.
Anyone have any ideas about this? There was previously nothing on this drive or in that folder but...
i noticed that you can only copy one folder at a time... You cannot select all folders (shift select or select all) and then move them to your computer
Is anyone backing up their entire MPC drive by placing all their drum folders, original MPC folder and all their songs in one folder called MPC400 or something so that you can transfer that entire folder to your comp hardrive in one step.
Am I just paranoid cause I lost all of my tracks I had been working on for 2 years? yes./
But I still dont know what these errors are. Do you?
