Recording Sliders Help PLZZ!!

I can't figure out how to record slider movements on one sound part and then use the same slider again to record another movement on a different part. If I record a slide and then change parts and control e.g switch from cutoff to pitch the sound goes back to the original.

Do I have to swap multis or something?
