seriously no one person here is right
Alot of noob producers, and been saving up my lunch money cats start these threads instead of getting out there and spending some time on the actual machines
Alot of people are dreamers who are dreaming about that particular piece of hardware, and just want to argue, or get other people to argue so they can take the OPINIONS that people pull up and just go repeat them on another forum, amougest their friends or whatever else
Point is no one outside of another producer really gives a shit what you use to make the music, they just care that its tight, and you have good sound quality, so stop being a following sap, go out there and sit in GC or whatever store and play with them or take them home and play with them before the return period, and form your own opinions
Problem is some of you may be too inexperienced to form your own opinions, and want to let someone else make the decisions for you, which is like someone telling you what clothing you should like, because so and so, or Corn Flakes vs Cheerios, thats really all this bickering is amounting to, and I have left other forums, and casually read this one to get away from the constant rookie level debates, none of you are giving clearcut points to why one is better than the other, because its not clearcut its a matter of a opinion you have formed inside of your brain or someone else formed for you, and at the end of the day really doesnt mean shit to another unique human being, who thinks differently than you
People still make music on some of the oldest, and dumbest shit in the world, but who are you to tell them their workflow is wrong its what works for them, I notice some guy say I keep up with the products to keep making leading edge music..... seriously thats the dumbest statement I've heard in a while
Point is each machine only will put out what you put into it, and both put out music at the end of the day that sounds professional (if you are a professional that is), and neither of machines are putting out a sound thats "leading edge" or unique to themselves, the only difference is the workflow, so pick one and start making music, and stop going thru these useless uninspirating debates that will make you hate your current setup and actually get some skills making actual music
