ayy, i just got a behringer 2222fx mixer so i could use my micro korg. was thinkin of maybe gettin a ms2000 in a bit tho...but i can hear all the sounds from the korg playin but it doesnt record. can i get some help on what to switch on the mpc to get it to record? also, is there a way that the microkorg can act sort of as a midi controller so i can control say a bass sample from the mpc and play it on all the keys of the korg? all help appreciated, thanks...peace.

Maybe you need to set tracks on the MPC from part to midi channel Check in your MPC Users manual on pages 20 thru 21 for more info.

Let`s see. 1 Korg midi out into MPC midi in. 2 Samples in MPC assigned to Keygroup program and check the keygroup note on the keyboard. 3 Go to Multi midi page and Assign midi channel to program. 4 Go to Main page and change Part into INT A or INT B and play. I`m not if all of it will work, but maybe someone else has some more tips. Or advice. :D and check that you have set the MPC as the slave in sync Sequence page also.

Check out pages 48 thru 51 on the MUlti section and 22 and 23 in Sequencer section for review.

The best advice I received from the Lasca brothers on this site was to go back from the manual pressing each button page by page to understand the MPC. It thats some downtime but it is well worth it.
