Akai sys.....

Whats up mpc fam.....I have the mpc 4000, with o.s 1.51, a gateway laptop with windows xp and im interested in
seeing what akai sys has to offer, can someone guide me on installing it on my laptop. thanks........

I have the akia sys installed and everthing, I believe its an old version like 2.0 i think, is there a new version, and also i tried to load a song on my mp through akai sys and it didn't work..........It loaded the sequences but not the programs in the sequences, i see the light at the end of the tunnel but I need somebody to help guide me there,,, thanks!

Try the newest version.

np 2.53 is on the website, its pretty self explanitory, I think it also has a Reference manual that will break EVERYTHING down for you


Right click on the MPC 4000 on the left side,(Choose Preferences) and check the Show Midi files, so you can see your sequences, and Maybe check all those options there

Also the Pad Editor is there as well, along with alot of cool stuff to learn how to use it pick up a book on synthesis
