sup,
I also find the Eq a bit lame,i dont really use it at all.
then again if u havent outboard or anything im sure u could just about make do!
hopefully the Fx section issues will be fixed with improved fx presets in forthcoming os updates.
i read on another forum that they were looking in to this at akai

how do you like it ? it that bord not one of the greatest wonders???

about the eq > I use it the trick is not to put to much into it a little goes a long long way

I just ran it thru PT and used the Waves EQ

A little goes a long way in certain cases but when Im trying to squash frequencies with more control than a filter, I need a stronger eq, I also like boosting the signal to the top and scanning where to make my EQ changes so I was very frustrated with the EQ :(
