you have to sample it internaly and save the wav as a wav onto the disc then take it to a computer and do it there

you mean that you gotta plug the outs of the MPC to the phono IN ?

did you ever try it, does it sound good ?

hahaha NO Th MPC 4k has the ability to sample whatever IT PLAYS meaning it cant sample its self and your sound modules at the same time

go explore it in sample mod youll see what im talking about

no external connections needed, just go to reccord page and select "input source" as "main out" and its all routed for u.
i use it with samples etc.. its sounds tight

also the rec gain knob is not used to set a singal level for recording when using "main out". u can trim off 6db at a time in the gobal page using "master level" if the signal is to hot....
