What up I've been lurking in the board for months getting tips and stuff ,but yesterday I went out and bought a Roland Fantom X7 if only it had a CDRW and Hard Drive non the less joint is fire It seems like Roland is really tryin to shut down Akai now I to own a MPC4000 bad ass machine but with the Fantom X7 it sorta really replaces a MPC but Ive kinda formed a relationship with my 4000 but I was sorta let down on how easy it was to compose a hot track on the Fantom X than my 4000 not to mention the color screen way better on my eyes. I feel like Akai is slipping MPC is to legendary to just fall like this , I really hope Akai get theyre act together
but as for now I'm still going to hold on to my 4000 . Peace & God Bless

hey insults ;)

isnt the fantom a real head scratcher to save samples to? dont you have to save a sample in about 2/3 places just to save it once as far as the fantom is concerned?? thats what put me right off it.

i've asked this a million times on other forums and haven't received a response... does the sequencer on the Fant-X have step editing like the mpcs? thanks.
