.snd???

Wasup folks. Quick question. Does the mpc4000 only save samples as .wav files, or can it save them as .snd files?? I might have overlooked the feature. Any feedback would be great.

I think it's just wave files, when i tried to play my samples from the 4k on my cd player nothing happened, no sound. i could be wrong, i just got it so i'm still learning.

the 4k as yet, only burns data cds so these wont play on normal cd players.
it burns/saves samples as .wav files only as far as i know.

That answers my question. Was curious because on my 2000xl, the save menu gives you an option to save as a .wav or akais own .snd format. Guess i need to get a converter.
