So basically whatever source I input from, it will make sure that the AD to DA conversion between the 003 and the source is good?

If it's clocking of your converters that suits your taste, why not consider to really lock things down with one of these...

Figured it out. I wasn't using an instrument track. I was using just a midi track. DUH
