I observed several posts about the problems of the MPC 4000 from new user coming from the other MPCs. I check out the manuals again because I came from the 2000XL and used a 3000. From the 60 to the 1000 all of the MPCs are the same and the manuals are very familiar but, the 4000 has changed some of the terms. But it is the same. Exception is a full sampler with keygroup programs and more filtering functions. If one just started from a 1000 or other machines you still need to read the manual and ref manual to familiarized with the new terms with the same meanings as the other mpcs and which windows and blocks contains the edits and fuctions you are familiar with on the other machines. It is basically the same, no machine is more difficult or has alot of problems. Learning is discovering all the hidden jewels of each tools. And once you master it weeks or months from now you will be signing praises of this uniqie hardware.

Peace out :D

I would really like it if MPC1000 Programs would load into the 4000. But they Don't! Is there some way to convert 1k PGMs to 4k AKPs ?
