sup krush,

Whatz up bro ,why ya using fruity?':D'

go into the record page and set the source as >>main out to resample your song/samples internally as a .wav file.....(or use a mtr much better!)
ready to be transfered via Ak.sys to ur pc/mac.

or to save memory to Cd as a .WAV file
go to the save/load page push>>>>f2,utility
use the jog dial to scroll to the last option >>>>memory to Cd
set the options as ya like!>>>>>>f6 Doit

save memory to cd saves the entire memory in ram....

So I have to save entire memory.....? Also does it automatically separate each track or do I have to go about another way to do that? Im new as hell to this comp gig, but I gotta move foward in the world of music! Also I want to put my monitors in the mix, how do I hook my monitor up to my computer so I can here my music with them instead of listening to it on the small speakers on my laptop. Hey saving entire memory is going save just the song I want or is going to save all of the other stuff im not going to use such as other programs and other sequences

P.S. I thought I would start out with
fruity loops....... thats all!

sup,

yeah it saves the entire memory only to CD,so u would have make sure the only files in ram are the ones you want on the disc, get round this by saving and reloading.
when u set the source as main out u record all audio coming out the
mainoutput=L+R as a single .wav file.

Best way to record your song is to either run a mix live though a mixer and/or use a multi track recorder.

Have u got a sound card?mixer?software/hardware mtr?

I need a soundcard for my laptop, also I have a yamaha aw4416 16 track recorder, I don't have a mixer on hand, I was thinking of putting the yamaha on the bench for a lil while and start recording with the fruit loop software on my laptop, so can you give me a run down on how I will hook everything up together--- This is what I want to hook up

1. mpc 4000 = beat making
2. gateway laptop= mixing down on fruity loops, record to cd
3. studio phile monitors= so I can here my mix on the computer
4. audio technica condenser mic= crispy vocals.

P.S. The yamaha is great but I want to
give the software a chance!

man ya have got a nice little setup, **** fruity for mixing'',sorry bro i cant give no advice on that(wrong person/forum)...

1. mpc 4000 =seperate outputs to AW4416(digital/analog)

2. gateway laptop=audio editor,sorftware mtr etc...(transfer via ak.sys)(audio out from soundcard to AW4416..when bought)

3. audio technica condenser mic= into Aw4416 mic input, or nice micpreamp/comp/eq>Aw4416

4.Aw4416=tracking/recording,mixing,bounce to cd.(master?)

5. studio phile monitors= plugged into ur Aw4416 monitor output

hope that helps
