Question - Adding Reverb to Claps/Snares for songs----------

hey guys, ive got atleast 5 different sequences in my beat... and someone gave me the advice to put the clap in the same program on different pads and tweak the ADSR , so ive done that...

now i would just like to add a bit of reverb to both of them sounds (remember they are in the same program) if i add a lil reverb efx wouldnt the whole program thus be affected?? im trying to avoid making a whole nother program only for 1 CLap where i have to go in, individually and copy tracks, get them to the right time, duration , velocity all that tedious work


or do you guys just add reverb in your DAW, im assuming its easier to do it this way?? record the track in, highlight whatever and apply Reverb to it ??

you can change the FX send amount at KEYGROUP level, surely...?

yep.. in the Program, one goes to here:

(Drum program)

1. Hit Program Button
2. Hit F2 for KG Mix
3. Scroll Cursor to "Note" field
4. Hit Pad of what you want to change , in his case, pad that clap is on
5. Scroll cursor over to "Send" field
6. Move Jog Dial and change from "Multi" to A, or B, or C, or D or AB, or CD

You can also do this fairly quickly in the Mixer page

1. Make sure Drum Program you want to Edit is on the Main Track
2. Hit Mixer Button
3. F2 for Pad Mixer
4. Hit the Pad for your sound, in his case clap
5. Change FX from "ML" to A, or B, or C, or D or AB, or CD


Basiclly the Architecture allows any Multi Part to have it's own FX Send, and any Program Pad or Keygroup to have it's
own FX send options.
