help with volume button =[

hi,i recently became a owner of a mpc 4000 and very happy with it..now the only problem is that the "main volume" knob seems not to be working(i am able to turn it but hear no difference in the volume from high to low etc) ..is there something that i am missing here ...or if its repairable how much would it cost me?

help a newb.

Try not to buy expensive gear without testing it first. It can become a costly habit when you have no choice but to get stuff REPAIRED.

The only person that can tell you how much it will cost, is the person that is likely to carry out the repair.

thanks for the advice. i have 14 day deadline..so i emailed the seller which is a music store down south to see what can be done. but yea no more buying online
