WHAT DOES Q-LINK DO

AND HOW DO YOU USE IT

Q link are 6 controls (4 rotary pots, and 2 faders) that can control different parameters within the MPC like amplitude(volume), pan, pitch, filters, efx, etc...these can be applied to individual sounds or whole programs. These functions can be 'automated' while recording. Also, they can be set up so that the knob settings can be automatically changed for every beat in a sequence (up to 1/64). So for example, you can have a sound that bounces from left to right every 8th note if you want.

so heres one for ya. how do u assign a q-link knob to a single sound so u can tweak that 1 sound instead of every sound thats playing in the seq?

Hit setup (above Q knobs). Hit F2 'send' Choose the multi. Curssor down to on of the Transmit. Change it from 'off' to Pad Control. Hit the pad you want to use.

well i hit QLINK SETUP button but when the page appears the command above the F2 button is SLIDER and not SEND. and there doesnt appear to be any ref to TRANSMIT or PAD CONTROL.
Is this yet another os 1.13 bug? Or am i missing sumthin?

I'm suprised your machine even turns on with that old ass version. Does it spew out exhaust too? You could go to Kinko's or a friends computer and DL that shiz today so you dont have to spend all weekend getting heated because shiz dont work
