Hot swap Hard drive enclosure for 4K?

anybody tried one? I'd like to just pull the drive out every night and back it up to the PC without arsing about with Akaisys. Anyone done it?

I was thinking about doing this as well. I assume you're talking about using the space of the CD-ROM drive for the HD enclosure? I don't see why this wouldn't work unless there is some kind of mechanical interference. I have not actually heard of anyone doing it though. You can be the lucky first one and tell everybody how cool it is.

I will try it but I haven't found an appropriate enclosure yet - black would be nice!
