I decided to strip down my lab and just go with the essentials. I got rid of my dj mixer and cd player from my previous time with the 2000 and I connected the turntable straight to the MPC 4000 and it sounds soooooo sweet. i sample off my CDs using the CDRW drive and it gets the job done even with a sequence playing in the background. I feel this back to basics move with not only help out my production and development but my funds too. In the production forum a while back person mention that we should focus on one part music and leave the mixing for others. I`m but that advice to work with sparing down my studio to the bare minimum. :D
Peace out to all samplers and sound creators.
