aksys in OS 10.3.4

I have opened up aksys and double clicked a sample(inside the 4000) then it tells me to choose an audio editor. So I pick recycle and click "choose" and I am returned back to the main Aksys page. The problem is that when I click on the sample again it asks me to choose an audio editor again. What is wrong here? I tried shutting down aksys and restarting but i keep getting the same results. Somebody help!

no idea, try reinstalling them both that may work, sounds like its not saving your selection u need to fix that, it may be trying to write a file and cant or something of that nature
