I have a sequence, its lenght is 1 bar. I want to delete the half of it (the last part) so I can loop it 4 times. How do I do this? I can only delete 1 bar.. I cant delete bar 1.2 to bar 1.4 of a sequence..

If I delete it manually in the seq edit view (track per track), the last part remains and I cant copy the first part into the last part, it always paste to the bar it came from..

I hope you know what the hell Im talking about..

The smaller unit in a sequence is a bar.

The biggest unit in a sequence is 999 bars.

just copy to clipboard, then go to beat 3 and paste it and loop it twice

or just cut the time signature down to 2/4 and you just got half a bar

yo ikke!

we discussed a similar prob a while back! ... month or so! and copying, deleting, ... inside a bar seems to be a bit a problem! ... meaning that there is no direct function allowing you to ie copy a whole seq in smaller units as a bar .... but some workarounds!

... in this case what about changing time sig to 2/4 and looping that (if you don't care bout time sig i think thats it!) coz if you have 1 bar only it should cut the remaining shit off! ... if you want a regular 4/4 back i d go into song mode loop it a few times, convert it to a new longer seq and set tim grid back! ... dunno whether this worx - never tried it - but maybe you can give it a try! ... if its ok let us know!

good luck

alto

Thx Alto, Ill try that once. Ive allready did it track per track.. It was only a drum, bass and Epiano so it didnt took much time.
