4000 B.P.M. Question????????

in the trim page under sample....

when I select reigon, I notice a B.P.M. button on there. Is there a way to figure out the Bpm of my loop after I set the start and end points? A friend of mine said on the 2kxl he can get the basic loop of the song then hit some buttons that will give him the bpm or tempo... that way when he goes to his main page he will punch it in an when he records the metonom will be dead on with the loop.....

I guess it is a short cut to figuring out what the tempo of the song needs to be...

There are many ways but the simpliest is to go the bpm page(Beats Per Minute) and set the number of beats in the sample like 4, 8, or more to get the sample`s bpm. if you chop up the sample and program the chops in the sequencer you can set the tempo as you like too. On the sample trim block on sample end turn the jog wheel to change it to beat and you turn the bpm until it is the same as the number of beats. The bpm page is the fastest though . I hope it helps
