also try and change the system clock athough u need to reboot after this.(in the gobal page)

On the record page it says 16 bit, but I'll check the system clock on the global page ond holla back!

Aiight...global page...system clock...that did the trick....Thanks for "Reveal[ing] that!...as it erases the memory too I guess you can only work in one mode at a time huh?

no problem,like the pun lol. also sometimes ive sampled at 96k then had save and reboot if im having a heavy session cause at 96k there only 32poly, thats still enough most the time but on a few projects ive some note stealing going on .

Does working at 96 use more CPU as well? How do you guys find the CPU usage in general on this...is it quite reasonable?

hey one, i never really hit cpu level problems ,it just takes a little bit longer to save/load and process 96 k samples

I use a Roland multi track for recording and ran into trouble mixing down from 48kHz to 44.1 for recording to CD. Anyone having trouble mixing down 96kHz samples. :?:

what do u mean by trouble? u should use dither on ur master fader in ur multi track when bouncing down from higher samle rates

That I understand and it works with Pro Tools however in the Roland VS series it records up to 96kHz but it doesn`t mix down to 44.1 kHz. So I have to set all of the recording sessions to 44.1 on my Roland.

oh , ive not really used the vs series,but i if u really want to work at 96k ,couldnt u just record the stereo output of ur 96k vs session at 44.1 16bit then bounce that to cd, ?
or mabye some one who knows the vs series has a better workaround

yeah I have a vs 1880 and ran into that problem but I only had two songs going on 48K so it want a total lost.

blaze if you ever find a way to convert that hit me up.

because im about 10seconds a way from sellin this damn thing
