Just got a new mixer. I set everything up. i boot up the mpc and I can't pan, The sound is balanced I can hear from both monitors but i cant pan to either side.

I have twin 1/4 to 1/4 pluged from the mp into the mixer, I had this exact setup on the 2000 and it worked perfect

you might have your moniter out set to mono on the mixer, in which case panning will make no difference.

on your last mixer were you using a stereo input and now using two seperate mono inputs??? thats all I can think of.
sorry pez

Try using headphones with the mpc. Can you pan? Sorry, but I'm not sure where your problem is. Is it in the MPC or the Mixer.

I can pan with my headphones. so its not the mp

the outputs on the mixer is not on mono because i can pan with my turntable. But like i said in my above post i take one of the output cables on the mpc out and sound still comes from both monitors

wtf.... if u can take one cable out and its still in both speakers the mixers outputting in mono......... can u pan anything at all out of your mixer?!?!?! dude thats wierd.....

only thing I can think of is u were using a stereo input on your last mixer now your using mono channels you have to pan the left input channel on the behringer hard left and the right input channel hard right.

maybe some dude at behringer fell asleep at the soldering iron and fkd some sht up....
Pez.
