Not that I'm a lazy dude, or illiterate, but I'm.... f- it I am lazy.
Is there a good instructional video for the 4000 on the market.
I had a 2000 and thought it would be a smooth transition....NOT! I would really appreciate somebody helpin' a lazy bastard like me out.
PEACE

Ha. That's funny. Cool, I am glad that you found the video helpful. BUT... I didn't create it. The guy that did the video posts here....Freedom from Ha. ;)

The video got me over the hump mpc 4000 wise. It was a great help.

Freedom just wanted to thank you for the video It helped more than any other thread on this forum when you posted it. I would be interested in seeing a video on how to make the q-link effect just one track at a time while others arent modulated. I think it can be done with the parts function, but i'm not sure.

I think the video should touch on the Ud-basic stuff like:
Sampling (it's mad diff from the 2000....MAD DIFFERENT)
Assigning sounds to the pads (if there's a shorter way of doin' it)
Your coverage on Q-link was PERFECT!!! Nuff said!
A brief overview of Program settings wouldn't hurt either.
A lot of cats might be scared to ask these things, but I'm new 2 the 4000, I thought the transition from 2k to 4k was gonna be easy, but it ain't.

yo Seight

did you try the "pad assign" button when you are on the "main" page ?

it's real simple to assign sounds from there

Misterv,

You know I didn't even see that. The past times I've posted I've been at work, not in front of the machine. I get off early today and I'll be taking all of the info in that ya'll have been givin' me. I really appreciate aythin'. Alot of my questions might be stupid but, Phuk it, I'm gonna ask if I don't know, no matter how simple it may seem. 8)
