- A button (combo) to find the next or previous zero cross point while in sample edit mode. I honestly couldn't believe that this wasn't available in a pro sampler like the 4k.

- Support for a new expansion board with hi-speed host/client USB 2.0 and Firewire 800 ports, to increase the data transfer speed with Ak.Sys and USB/Firewire drives. Maybe combine this new board with the SPDIF digi board, so that we don't loose the option to have both digi and analog expansions next to the new hi-speed ports.

- Support for a pre-programmed 2nd sequence/song *per sequence*. Possible values are: none, continue, or a sequence/song number. When changing sequences and the 2nd sequence/song value of the new sequence is 'none', the 2nd sequence/song is stopped. If it's set to 'continue', the currently running 2nd sequence/song is continued without resetting it to its beginning. If it's set to some sequence/song number, that sequence/song is started.

- Support for editing midi NRPN combos. AFAIK this is not supported?

- I'm not sure about this one either: support a button (combo) that, while pressed, allows me to quickly select the current track number by hitting one of the pads. Obviously, only the first 16 tracks can be selected this way. A similar combo could be introduced to select the first 16 sequences. Would this be faster than what's currently available?

over my head with the rest of what you are talking about but I'm sure you can select the first 16 sequences in the sequence page......

Yes, but what I suggested is a button combination that, when pressed down, works in *all* pages. Sounds like a great quick way to select your track, while staying in the current page.

But since I don't have my 4k yet, I'm not sure if something like that has already been implemented.

Love that one, but I think also they should have a overhead Rack that can hold 4 midi modules and one row of QLink nobs.

hahaha, ... not bad either! now someone just must design them! i m inable to do that - my bad! but i'm sure someone else can do! I'd only suggest they should keep it in their traditional white colour - ... and lots of knobs please!

and another easy one: the mpc should keep the current project somewhere saved even if i switch it off! this way ond doesn't have to save each **** and can really restart the next day where he has left the session before! also its a saver in case the mpc shuts down for whatever reason!

:D

- An option to have the OS ask you if it should make a backup copy of the sample you're working on, before it get's destructively edited by one of the sample edit commands. And of course, an Undo command that restores the last edited sample.

make it compatible with the mlan protocol...

and make it so u could use both option bays together like 2 adat option cards used together for 16 outs .....

and audio cd burning.......

Something I think would be real cool would the ability to be able to move notes without going thru the hassle of the move feature, sorta like on your pc with a mouse

Go to the note or drum hit, hold enter, then move it freely with the cursors

Also on instrument tracks, you have the option of going to the note and holding +/- then you can move the length sidesways to shrink or lengthen it

Would be pretty cool, faster and move efficent way of editing

sup....
hey ice thats a real good idea ,moving notes like that to the tc grid or free style would be much better.

i was also thinking they could develope the phase library so u could import and export phase libraries and phases
so u can save a library on its own or with a multi.

so theres no hassels having a different library for every tune

Ya thats a real good idea right there Reveal, that way you can basically copy and paste alot easier without having to worry about deleting stuff later, thats why I havent made 2 much use outta the phases
