Cut midinotes (F4) in seq edit,,

Read again,,, because you missed my point,,and dont tell me to sell my mpc4k, cause ive worked with the mpc4k in a lot more depth then you have,,, otherwise you would understand what im talking about here. copy midinotes wont help because you need to have the right notelength in the first place.....
And also copying an empty space wont work,,, and copying another midinote ofver a part of another midinote,, wont cut the previous note off,,

just cut,,, not paste,,,, cut the mother,,, and not fukkin around with the duration thing, or copy paste and sh1t, just cut it. How you gonna copy paste to edit note duration when working with chords?????

Or when working with chopped drumloops,, you dont want overlapping peaces of loops dancing around, you just want them to fit in to the grid nice and smooth. Also for polyphony purposes,, if a synth got only 6 voices you want to avoid overlapping notes at all costs.

Or when having chords,, and one note of the chord is longer then the other and you want to make all the notes of the cord at equal length
