BTW still the trim data gets lost when editting in sample page sometimes,, its a bug and akai knows about this.

My advise always to you is to have a mental role model and emulate their greatest assets which are to try to use their greatest talents, PERSISTANCE, DETERMINATION, and IMAGINATION to work with any tools they have at hand. We all have these tools because we all are human. But some of us use them and some of us don`t. Schoos don`t teach about these life lessons. But all of these start from HOPE, DEDICATION, EXPERIEMENTATION, TRAIL AND ERROR, and HAVING ENOUGH EXPERIENCES.

Last but not least you don`t have to reinvent the wheel each time either on your own. Reading about others tips, understanding how did the pros make their songs that you love on their gears, and the basics of music will take your music further, give you less headaches on the gear, and ultimately bring you contentment and the ability to help others rather than lash out because you may not understand how they are advancing and you are struggling with yours.

YOU CAN DO ANYTHING YOU WANT TOO ONCE YOU SET YOUR MIND TO IT.

FIRST FIND OUT ALL THE THINGS YOU DON`T KNOW WITH AN INVESTMENT IN TIME, READING, AND RESEARCH TO FIND THE INFORMATION, TIPS, TECHINQUES, AND HISTORY OF THIS MUSIC PROCESS ON YOUR OWN. THEN WHATEVER TOOL YOU USE WILL BE EASIER TO USE. THRU KNOWLEDGE COMES UNDERSTANDING.


Simple you can take a test and make a 95% out of 100, but that is still 5 questions you missed that you still don`t understand. 3 months later you will have forgetten the 95% you got correct cuz you have knowledge but not understanding. It is no use knowing what 1/8 quantize means if you don`t understand how it relates to 8 notes in one measure and when you use seq edit window or step editor which is better in some ways to know where you are at in time.
